Division of Exceptional Learners
The division provides leadership and state-level support for public school gifted and talented (grades K-12) programs and for students with disabilities from ages 3-21. The following disabilities are included: autism spectrum disorder, communication disorder, deaf-blindness, developmental delay, emotional disability, hearing impairment, learning disability, mental disability, multiple disabilities, orthopedic impairment, other health impairment, traumatic brain injury, and visual impairment. The division ensures that Indiana is in compliance with the federal Individuals With Disabilities Education Act, through monitoring of special education programs, oversight of community and residential programs, provision of mediation and due process rights, and sound fiscal management. The division includes the Gifted and Talented Team, which administers grants, operates four resource centers, and provides workshops and materials suited to the needs of the gifted and talented population.

Home of the WildKats - There is no better place to work and live than Kokomo, Indiana, and no better place than Kokomo-Center Schools for your children to receive a quality education. With eleven elementary schools, four middle schools and a high school, with an attached Career Center, Kokomo-Center has a diverse student population. Kokomo-Center Schools did not need a federal mandate from the "No Child Left Behind Act" to provide educational programs that meet, and in some cases, exceed the needs of individual students, no matter what their ability or income level.
Eastern Howard School Corporation
Home of the Comets - Eastern Howard School Corporation is located in eastern Howard County. The corporation schools and central office are located in Greentown, approximately eight miles east of Kokomo and forty miles northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana. The corporation is in a rural/suburban setting with easy access to employment, shopping areas, restaurants, and recreational activities.

Western School Corporation
Home of the Panthers - Western School Corporation, which encompasses Harrison, Honey Creek, and Monroe Townships, is located in southwestern Howard County. Howard County is located 50 miles due north of Indianapolis. Nearby Kokomo is the major city and serves as the county seat. A portion of Harrison Township lies within Kokomo city limits. The smaller Howard county towns of Alto, New London, Russiaville and West Middletown fall within the Western School Corporation district. Of these, Russiaville is the largest.

Tipton Community School Corporation
Home of the Devils - Tipton Community School Corporation, where educators provide a positive vision for the future.... Tipton is a progressive, rural area just north of Indianapolis. Total school enrollment is approximately 1,850. TCSC is large enough to offer many wonderful academic and extra curricular programs and small enough to know students as individual learners.
Saints Joan of Arc and Patrick School

Ivy Tech Community College
Ivy Tech is a statewide open-admissions community college that has grown into the second-largest post-secondary institution in Indiana. Our programs lead to two-year associate's degrees and one-year technical certificates.
With 23 campuses and low tuition, Ivy Tech is both convenient and affordable.
Ivy Tech also partners with four-year colleges and universities to add new transfer opportunities for our students. More and more Ivy Tech graduates are building on their associate's degrees and continuing to the bachelor's level.
We also serve the state's businesses and workers with customized education and short-term skill-building programs. Many courses are designed to let professionals earn continuing education units.
